Introduction to Black and White Film Photography
A 4 class course to introduce you to B&W film Photography. Class 1 Starting with Camera and Shooting Basics. Class 2 B&W film developing. Class 3 making a contact print. Class 4 making prints on RC paper. Sign up for all 4 classes or scroll down to register for individual classes

Class 1 Camera and Shooting Basics
Week 1 Camera and Shooting Basics. Learn how to use your camera, Learn about different film types, learn how to meter for film and expose properly and how to read different lighting situations.

Class 2 B&W FIlm Developing
Learn how to develop B&W Film. Learn about different film developers, developing techniques, push and pull development and the effects of agitation. Must have 1 to 2 rolls of exposed film to develop.

Class 3 Making a Contact Sheet
In week 3 you’ll learn about the print making process, the Enlarger and its parts and their functions and how to make a contact sheet from the negatives you developed in class 2.

Class 4 Making Prints on RC Paper
Must Take Class 3 or have prior darkroom printing experience. Class 4 you’ll take what you learned in class 3 and apply it to making an enlargement print of one of your negatives. You’ll learn about contrast filters and how to dodge and burn your prints.

Color Film and Printmaking Classes
C41 Color Film Developing for Beginners
This class is for people with no prior film developing experience. You will learn how to transfer color film to a development tank and how to properly develop the film in properly tempered C41 chemistry. Must bring 1 or 2 rolls of exposed film.
All classes are taught in a one on one atmosphere and are scheduled at anytime during the week and last 2-3 hours.

This class is for people with prior film developing experience. You will learn how to develop the film in properly tempered C41 chemistry. Must bring 1 or 2 rolls of exposed film.

RA4 Printmaking for Beginners. 2 Day Class
This class is geared for people with no prior darkroom printing experience. In this class you will learn all about the RA4 process. This is a 2 day class 3-4 hours each class. Class days can be spread out over 2 weeks. Held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.
